Mass De Requiem in memory of the fallen of the Great Siege in 1565
Mass De Requiem was celebrated at St. John’s co-cathedral in Valletta by Mgr Lawrence Gatt, Principal Chaplain, at 8.30 a.m. in memory of the fallen of the Great Siege in 1565.
The blessing of the tombs of the fallen during the Great Siege, together with those of Melchoir de Robles and of Grand Master Jean de Valette took place at the end of the mass.
