Mass of Thanksgiving to commemorate the Victory of the Great Siege of 1565

The National Festivities Committee invited the Council of the Maltese Association to attend the Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving to commemorate the Victory of the Great Siege of 1565 at St John’s Co- Cathedral in Valletta.

The Pontifical Mass was led by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi, who, in his homily, placed the historical significance of Victory Day in the context of the realities and challenges facing Maltese society today.

MASMOM President, Dr Michael Grech, led the council members present.
