Maltese Association 4th Orchestral Charity Concert at St John’s Co-Cathedral

The Orchestral Charity Concert has become an annual event in the Maltese Association Calendar of Activities.

Maltese Association held its fourth annual concert this year once again to mark the Feast Day of St John the Baptist, Patron Saint of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

The Charity Concert Committee engaged the services of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Prof. Michael Laus, with Mezzo Soprano Claire Massa and The Goldberg Ensemble choir, giving an excellent performance of works by Vivaldi, Handel, Zerafa, Mozart and others.

The Hon. Dr Joseph Muscat very generously hosted all the guests in the quaint and beautifully lit courtyard of the Auberge de Castille for an after Concert reception.
