The Archpriest of Naxxar, the Reverend Canon David Gauci, Conventual Chaplain ‘ad honorem’ invited the Association to attend the Solemn Translation of the Relic on eve of the feast of Our Lady of Victory at 6.15pm to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the arrival of the titular statue.

The translation of the relic, led by Mgr Salvino Micallef, former parish priest of Naxxar, started with a procession from the Victory Chapel to the Parish Church of Maria Bambina, through the streets of Naxxar. This was followed by vespers, the Salve Regina and Holy Eucharist benediction.

The vice President, Dame Helene Zammit led the members present in this event.

Refreshments were later served.
