Christmas Hamper Packing Day

Christmas is always a busy time for the Maltese Association and its’ Hospitaller activities.

Every Christmas food hampers are presented to needy families and traditionally the 8th December, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is the day set aside to prepare the hampers.

The day starts with Holy Mass celebrated in the Church of Our lady of Victory, this year celebrated by Mgr Galea, one of our Chaplains. Following the Holy Mass, after volunteers move next to Casa Lanfreducci to start the back-breaking task of preparing the hampers.

The hampers are then distributed to various childrens’ institutions, and cloistered and other religious organisations all over Malta.
