Donation from the Millennium Chapel Foundation

The Millennium Chapel Foundation has donated the entire proceeds of the raffle held at its annual summer barbeque held at the Westin Dragonara Resort on Wednesday 28 August 2019, being the Feastday of St. Augustine, towards the Maltese Association’s Shelter for Homeless Youth Project.

Fr. Hilary Tagliaferro, Director of the Millennium Chapel Foundation, made a strong and heartfelt appeal to all present to be generous towards this worthy cause.

The raffle proceeds were presented to the Hospitaller Dr. Kevin F. Dingli towards the end of the very pleasant evening by Dr. John C. Grech, Chairman of the Foundation, in the presence of Fr. Hilary.

The Hospitaller thanked Fr. Hilary and the Board of Governors for having so positively embraced his appeal for support, as well as all guests for having responded so generously, thereby expressing true solidarity with a cause which the Association together with its Salesian partners on this Project are so enthusiastic about.

The Shelter is nearing final completion and is expected to open its doors to receive its first residents by the end of September 2019.
