Ninth Annual Orchestral Charity Concert
The Annual Orchestral Charity Concert celebrating the Feast Day of St John the Baptist, Patron Saint of the Order of Malta was held on the on Thursday 20 June 2019 at 19.30 hrs under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Dr George Vella President of Malta, at St John’s Co-Cathedral.
The Maltese Association’s Charity Concert Committee together with the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Prof. Michael Laus and the Goldberg Ensemble Choir, presented the Ninth Annual Orchestral Concert that featured works by Bach, Pergolesi, Mozart, Lasso, Vivaldi, Albinoni and Caccini.
Maltese Association President Daniel de Petri Testaferrata together with Dr Pascal Demajo, the indomitable chairman of the Charity Concert Committee, briefly addressed the audience and thanked them for their precious support.
A reception was held at the Casino Maltese after the Concert.
The Concert is organised in aid of the philanthropic activities of the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta.
