Distribution of Hampers and Essential Items in Gozo
The Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo continued with their important task of providing food supplies and other essential items to many needy social cases on the island of Gozo.
Thanks to the supply of twenty food hampers from the Maltese Association of the Order, the Volunteers in Gozo could distribute these to the most needy families before Christmas.
The Order in Gozo also had to arrange for the distribution of baby items including prams to several newly-born babies and expectant mothers. These items were requested by social workers at FSWS or midwives at the Gozo General Hospital.
Other donations of food supplies and sanitary items were also donated by the Anglican Community in Gozo and the English Speaking Catholic Community in Gozo.
The Anglicans are also donating weekly supplies of food and items to OMVG for distribution on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
