Lourdes Pilgrimage Reunion for Patients and Personnel

The now well established annual Lourdes Pilgrimage Reunion for patients and personnel was held once again this year at the Madonna tal-Mirakli Hall in Lija on Saturday 9 November 2019 at 6.00 p.m.

An encouraging number of pilgrims, members, volunteers, patients and their families participated in this event, in spite of the weather which had suddenly turned quite windy and cold.

Our Lords the Sick were warmly welcomed and assisted throughout by those members and volunteers in attendance.

Proceedings started off with Holy Mass in thanksgiving, celebrated by the very Rev. Fr. David Gauci, Conventual Chaplain ad honorem. This was then followed by an abundant serving of light refreshments, where all those in attendance had the opportunity of renewing acquaintances and catching up on each others’ news.

The event was another complete success, achieving its objective of perpetuating the deep spirit of solidarity created by the wonderful and unique experience of what is the Lourdes Pilgrimage.
