Feast of St Ursula
Holy Mass was celebrated on the Feast Day of St Ursula by Bishop Joseph Galea Curmi, assisted by the Nuns’ chaplain- Fr Anthony Chircop, Mgr Lawrence Gatt- Principal Chaplain of the Maltese Association and other members of the clergy, at St Ursula Monastery in Valletta at 6:30pm.
This annual event in the Maltese Association’s calendar of religious activities was very well attended as members, volunteers and their families look forward to meeting the cheerful cloistered nuns on the feast of their patron saint.
At the end of the Mass Fr Anthony Chircop thanked the benefactors, volunteers and helpers who make this celebration possible.
The Hymn of St Ursula was sung by the choir under the direction of Mro. Agius.
All those present were then treated to light refreshments in the Convent Parlour.
