Series of lectures on 2 February 2016
A series of lectures kicked off on Tuesday 2 February 2016 at Casa Lanfredduci. Some 30 guests, from a cruise liner berthed in Valletta, arrived for a lecture about the Order of St John in modern times. The lecturer, confrere Dane Munro, gave an overview of the global and local activities of the Order, and about the importance of Lourdes.
Afterwards, tea and coffee was served and there was some time allocated to answer questions. It appears that such lectures give an extra dimension to the visitors to our islands and help in further the good causes of the Order.
A number of lectures are planned over the coming year.
