Our grateful thanks and appreciation this month go to our confrère Mr Justin Zammit Tabona and his dedicated staff at The Xara Lodge. This picturesque country place is nestled in the Rabat countryside. The tranquil ambiance was an idyllic venue to entertain our special guests who were so happy to meet one another and the helpers after the Festive Season!
Our patient friends have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern for others. These beautiful people do not just happen, they become the special human beings they are after fighting through all their challenges in silence every day. Giving them some of our time every month, has made us realize that love is a special feeling that fills one’s heart. We came to realise that love comes in a smile, a kind word, a thoughtful act or a hug and that love is treating people with dignity, care and kindness. This is why love is so contagious…it keeps spreading and always gives unconditionally.
Our lovely tea party came to an end with cheerful goodbyes and promises to meet up once again in a few weeks time at the next venue, we all look forward to sharing another wonderful afternoon together.
