Christmas Children’s Film – Penguins of Madagascar
Our children’s Christmas Film event this year was ‘The PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR’
Coaches drew up at the cinema and excited children ran into the cinema complex to collect their soft drinks and find their seats. Tubs of popcorn were handed out just before the film was screened. Enthusiasm grew as the children donned their 3D glasses. The film started and was complemented by shrieks from the children as the 3D effects became apparent through the countless adventures and many bravado acts of the Penguin team Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private, flying and zooming over the children’s heads to their great delight!
The animation was remarkable so the movie was a big treat for our special young audience. Organizing and controlling the children was no small task. After two hours it was time to go home, but seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter of the kids as they happily boarded their buses home was more than a big reward at the end of this exhausting but successful afternoon.
