Prison Ministry Barbecue
Once again this year, Maltese Association with the help and collaboration of the Association’s Prison Ministry members organised a barbecue for the YOURS prison inmates at the Corradino Correctional Facility in Paola.
The Prison authorities were very happy and enthusiastic to hold this event for their boys.
The inmates were treated to a delicious meal consisting of a roasted piglet on a spit very kindly prepared by Mr Joseph Mangion, one of Maltese Association’s volunteers. A splendid spread of various delicious side dishes of rice, salads and tasty sauces were cooked by one of the wardens who has excellent culinary skills, some of the boys also gave him a helping hand. A few others provided cheerful background music. The YOURS inmates, prison staff and prison ministry members enjoyed a few hours together in a convivial atmosphere.
