Lourdes Stage – 2024
A group of 18 members and volunteers from the Maltese Association departed Malta on Saturday, 21st September, to Lourdes for the annual Stage.
Benna and Joe Mangion had already traveled ahead, bringing the total number of participants to 20. This year, two new members, Victoire Borg Manche and Stephen Gatt, were welcomed to the group.
The personnel who had previously worked at the baths (piscines) were delighted that full immersion had been reinstated in five of the baths. Unfortunately, only those who booked in advance could take advantage of this special experience. However, there is hope that by next year the baths will be more widely accessible.
Several members of the group were returning to Lourdes after a break of a few years, though some, unfortunately, had to cancel at the last minute due to family illness. As always, the experience was profound and spiritually enriching—truly nourishment for the soul.
