Two New Honorary Canons at St Lawrence Collegiate Chapter
The Maltese Association is delighted to announce that, in terms of a decree issued by His Grace Mgr Charles Jude Scicluna, Metropolitan Archbishop of Malta, this afternoon, two of our members, namely, the Very Rev. Mgr Paul C. Vella, and H.E. Fra’ Francis Vassallo, were invested as Honorary Canons of the Collegiate Chapter of the Conventual Church of Saint Lawrence in Birgu.

The investiture ceremony was held today at 5 pm and was followed by Holy Mass of Thanksgiving. Archpriest Canon Karm Busuttil was the main celebrant, assisted by the members of the Collegiate Chapter of St. Lawrence.

A reception in honour of the new Canons was held after the religious celebrations.
