Malteser Volunteers’ Visit
A group of German Malteser volunteers from the Bavarian Town of Schweinfurt visited Malta on the 16 May 2022 and were assisted by the Maltese Cross Corps (a peripheral organisation of the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta).
They visited Casa Lanfreducci, the headquarters of the Maltese Association, meeting with the President, Daniel de Petri Testaferrata and the Hospitaller, Dr Kevin Dingli. Most of them had been involved in carrying humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine.
The President gave an overview of the work of the Association in Malta and the the relationship with the Maltese Cross Corps. They were shown the mementos of the late Grandmaster Fra Andrew Bertie and the various trips and pilgrimages to Lourdes with the malades. Gifts were also exchanged.
