The Safe Haven Exhibition

The famous Maltese artist, Madeleine Gera, brought together a group of very talented artists for an exhibition to raise funds for Ukrainian refugees, with donations being channelled through the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta, on the 11 May at 6:30pm at the Casino Maltese in Valletta.
The artists who graciously accepted to participate in The Safe Haven are Claire Albanozzo, Doranne Alden, Marisa Attard, Alaine Baker, Francesca Balzan, Johanna Barthet, Rune Bo Jakobsen, Debbie Bonello, Andrew Borg, Fabio Borg, Jeni Caruana, Grace Cassar, Catherine Cavallo, Patrick Dalli, Joanna Dounis, Paul Farrugia, Karl Fröman, Anna Galea, Patrick Galea, Madeleine Gera, Ġoxwa, Anna Grima, Vic Manduca, Andrew Micallef, Amelia Saint George, Valerio Schembri, Monica Spiteri, Roberta Zammit Cutajar and Kenneth Zammit Tabona.
The pop-up exhibition, hosted by The Casino Maltese, Valletta, was officially inaugurated by Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, president of the Maltese Association of the Order of Malta, on Wednesday, May 11, at 6.30pm and closed on the same day at 9pm. It was very well attended and quite a large number of the donations by the various artists were sold.
The Order of Malta is the charity that will be directing the funds to where it’s most needed.
