Feast of Blessed Gerard

Holy Mass was celebrated at the oratory in St. John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta at 18:30, to commemorate the feast of Blessed Gerard, the founder of the Order.

The Principal Chaplain, Mgr Lawrence Gatt celebrated the Holy Mass. Mgr. Paul Vella, Fr. David Gauci and Fr. Stephan Attard concelebrated.

The mass was also attended by the Order of Malta’s Ambassador to Malta, H.E. Prince Augusto Ruffo di Calabria and his spouse, H.S.H. Princess Tana Ruffo di Calabria.

At the end of the mass, the President of the Maltese Association, Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, recited the Prayer of The Order and addressed the congregation.

The Mass was offered for the repose of the soul of our confrere Professor Frederic Fenech, who passed away last Saturday.
