8 September Pontifical High Mass of Thanksgiving

September 8 2018 

 

Pontifical High Mass of Thanksgiving to commemorate the Victory of the Great Siege of 1565 was celebrated at St John’s Co-Cathedral Valletta.

 

The members met at 8.30 a.m. in the vestry for robing and at 9.15 a.m. processed to the High Altar, followed by the reverend clergy, where the Archbishop, H. G. Mgr Charles Scicluna con-celebrated Holy Mass.

 

At the end of the Mass the Maltese National Anthem was sung.

 

Members of our voluntary groups and members of the Order pro Merito Melitensi were also in attendance.
