Prison Ministry – Thanksgiving Supper for Inmates

The Prison Ministry organised the annual Thanksgiving Supper for all inmates at the Young Offenders Unit Rehabilitation Services (YOURS) at Mtahleb.

A number of foreign inmates from the Corradino Correctional Facility (CCF) who participate in the Prison Ministry Project were also in attendance.

Inmates were treated to a lavish dinner consisting of a cold starter and a warm soup, followed by an over abundant serving of beef olives, turkey, roast potatoes and cooked vegetables. This was then followed by delicious chocolate cake and coffee.

YOURS inmates assisted in the kitchen, as well as in serving the food and clearing up after each course was devoured.

We are once again most thankful to Joe Mangion for painstakingly organising and cooking the meal. Overall the event was another resounding success which was much appreciated by the inmates and wardens alike!
