Lourdes Patients Tea Party at XARA LODGE

The day started out with bright sunshine but by lunchtime we had rain accompanied by thunder! However we proceeded to Xara Lodge and true to their word most of our Senior Citizen friends and some younger members turned up for their monthly tea party. We had a group of 32 which was great considering the forecast !!!
Xara Lodge always looks lovely and its panoramic views are so peaceful. We were treated to teas and coffees accompanied by sandwiches and cheesecakes. They also got cakes and biscuits.
Everyone enjoyed sharing stories, problems, news and their latest activities!! We ended the afternoon with a group photo and promises to be told about the next activity.
