Christmas Eve Mass
Members and Volunteers of the Maltese Association of the Order, and their families, enjoy the privilege of hearing the Christmas Eve Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral. The former Conventual Church of the Order during their time in Malta is indeed a fitting place to gather in prayer on the eve of one of the most sacred days in the liturgical calendar.
This is made possible as the result of an annual invitation that the Rector, Mgr Paul Vella, extends to the Association.
Mass was celebrated by Mgr Victor Zammit McKeon, Chaplain of the Order. The first lesson was read by Arthur Galea Salomone while the second lesson was read by Noel Buttigieg Scicluna. The bidding prayers were read by Pucky Demajo.
Dr Michael Grech, President of the Association , thanked all those present for their work during the year that was coming to an end, and wished everyone a most peaceful Christmas and a healthy New Year.
Drinks and refreshments were later served at Casa Lanfreducci.
