On the occasion of the Feast of Blessed Gerard, founder and first Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta, the Grand Magistry announces the launch of the new official Order of Malta App.
This initiative marks an important step in strengthening the identity and visibility of the Order, creating a closer connection with members, volunteers, and all those who closely follow our activities around the world. With an intuitive interface and advanced features, the App will allow greater visibility of the numerous humanitarian, social, and healthcare initiatives carried out daily guided by the Order’s charism – Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperum –, making them accessible to an increasingly wide audience.
The new application, available in five languages, is organised into two main areas:

- A public section, providing instant access to the latest news, stories of humanitarian service, immersive virtual tours of the Order of Malta’s historic sites, a comprehensive calendar of events and initiatives worldwide, and a dedicated section on spirituality, allowing anyone to connect with the mission, values, and life of the Order.

- A private section, serving as a direct link to the Intranet, is designed for members and staff and includes exclusive content, operational tools, and resources created to facilitate active participation in the life of the Order, strengthening the sense of community and shared commitment to service.

With this launch, the Order of Malta takes a further step towards digital innovation, strengthening its impact and international visibility, and offering a tool that unites tradition and modernity in the service of its centuries-old mission of Christian witness and care for the poor and the sick.
