Easter comes to SAMOC

Patients undergoing treatment at the Day Ward of Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre were given a special Easter treat on Holy Saturday.

The volunteers on duty today followed in the footsteps started by the Hospitaller, Dr. Kevin F. Dingli, and his daughter Dr. Louisa Bencini Dingli, way back in 2019, pre-covid, and distributed small chocolate Easter eggs to every patient and staff, in addition to the usual fare, typically a biscuit which is served out with a tea, coffee or juice.

The little gesture was highly appreciated, bringing out that extra smile on everyone’s face.

The refreshment trolley service which is operated at SAMOC on a daily basis (except Sundays) is one of the ongoing projects of the Maltese Association.
