2021 ANNUAL ADVENT SPIRITUAL RETREAT
The Maltese Association today had its annual advent retreat for members, prospective members, spouses and volunteers at St Joseph Retreat House in Rabat.
At the beginning of the retreat, the President of the Maltese Association, Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, welcomed back the attendees physically present, after two years of virtual retreats.

The retreat started with the Introductory Prayers – Lauds – led by the Principal Chaplain Mgr Lawrence Gatt.

The main theme of the retreat was about: Luke 1 : 38 “May your word to me be fulfilled.” and the preacher was Fr. Frankie Cini from the MSSP, whose talks were extremely interesting and appreciated by all.

The afternoon Mass was offered for the repose of the soul of the 79th Grand Master, Fra’ Matthew Festing, who passed away in Malta on the 12 November.

The event was held in compliance with the health regulations currently in force.
