Once again a group of Our Lords the Sick, who have over the years participated in the International Pilgrimage of The Order of Malta to Lourdes, were invited to join the President, Members and volunteers of the Maltese Association, to a Holy Mass held at The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Graces in Zabbar. 

 

This special Mass is held every year at the Grand Master’s request to commemorate the International Day of the Sick on the anniversary of Our Lady’s first apparition to Bernadette in Lourdes.

 

Fr Savio Vella celebrated the Mass once again and delivered an inspiring homily about our relationship with Our Lady of Lourdes, whilst the parish choir sung the Mass hymns.

 

After Holy Mass our guests and their relatives were hosted to light refreshments in the Parish Hall across the square, kindly made available to us by the Archpriest of Zabbar, Can Evan Caruana, who welcomes us to this beautiful Marian Sanctuary every year.
