Presentation Ceremony
Mrs. Violet de Marco and her family expressed the desire that the Church Robes, collar and decorations of the Order of Malta and the Order pro Merito Melitensi of the late lamented President Emeritus Prof. Guido de Marco KM are to be included in the permanent exhibition at Casa Lanfreducci.
After the religious celebrations at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, a short presentation ceremony was held at the Association’s headquarters, in the Grand Master Andrew Bertie Memorial Room.
Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, the Association’s President, and Dr Mario de Marco, on behalf of the de Marco family, addressed the members and guests present.
Both speakers stressed on the great friendship that had existed between the two heads of state and it is only fitting that their respective decorations are exhibited in the same room.
The Association is most grateful to the de Marco family for their generosity.
Light refreshments were served after the presentation.
