Holy Mass in Preparation for the Lourdes Pilgrimage 2019

Holy Mass in preparation for the forthcoming Lourdes Pilgrimage was celebrated by Mgr Lawrence Gatt, Principal Chaplain of the Maltese Association, at St. Ursula Monastery in Valletta.

Mgr Gatt focused on one of the Eight Beatitudes ‘Blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven’ in his homily.

He also spoke about the Lourdes experience and the special devotion to The Virgin Mother.

The President, Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, addressed the assembly at the end of the Mass. He thanked the Mother superior for hosting this annual spiritual celebration and gave a general briefing to all the patients, their relatives and pilgrims.

Prior to the mass the President held a meeting at the refectory of the monastery for the personnel and went over the arrangements and important details that needed to be relayed.
