Easter comes to SAMOC
Patients undergoing treatment at the Day Ward of Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre were given a special Easter treat on Holy Saturday.
The Hospitaller Dr. Kevin F. Dingli, accompanied by his daughter Louisa Dingli, whose turn of duty it happened to be that day on the refreshment trolley service, distributed a small Cadbury chocolate Easter egg to every patient in addition to the usual fare, typically a biscuit which is served out with a tea, coffee or juice.
The little gesture was highly appreciated, bringing out that extra smile on everyone’s face.
The refreshment trolley service which is operated at SAMOC on a daily basis (except Sundays) is one of the ongoing projects of the Maltese Association, having a high degree of visibility.
