International Summer Holiday Camp in Salzburg Austria

The Maltese Association together with the Volunteers of the Order have again taken a group from Malta to participate in the International Camp of the Order of Malta. This year the event took place in Salzburg Austria between the 22nd to the 28th July.

Daniel Benson Camilleri, very ably headed the Maltese contingent composed of 21 participants, this included 12 helpers, two of whom were a doctor and a nurse, together with Fr Savio Vella, the team’s spiritual director. We had 8 special needs guests who had a ball of a time. Our Hospitaller, Dr Kevin Dingli, also made it a point to join the contingent, whose precious support was greatly appreciated.

The event brought together over 500 participants from over 25 countries worldwide.
