SEPTEMBER TEA PARTY FOR LOURDES PATIENTS

The Maltese Association’s monthly tea parties, are becoming increasingly popular from month to month. Patients joining the Order’s pilgrimage to Lourdes over the past years, are continuously making new acquaintances and the network of friendship between them keeps growing – these precious connections are positive vibes which help our malades keep happy and content. The selected group of friends for the September tea party had a wonderful time together. The Fontanella tea rooms prepared the usual lovely spread of sandwiches, cheese and pea cakes and a variety of delicious desserts, with teas, coffees and soft drinks served throughout the whole afternoon. Our special guests enjoyed this reunion tremendously whilst sitting on the Sant Manduca’s beautiful roof terrace which overlooks the splendid panoramic views seen from their Mdina residence. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Peter and Louisette, we cannot thank them enough for their unfailing kindness throughout the year.
