Translation of the Relic of St John the Baptist – Xewkija Gozo

Members of the Maltese Association were present at the Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Xewkija, the Spiritual Seat of the Order in Gozo and joined in the celebrations of the annual feast of our Patron Saint, St John the Baptist. The Translation Procession around the streets of Xewkija, with the Relic, the arm of St John the Baptist specially brought over from Ragusa, for this occasion. The Procession and Mass were led by Canon Don Gerolamo Alessi, Parish Priest of the Cathedral of Ragusa.
