Maltese Association Tea Party for Lourdes Patients at Fontanella

The September patients’ tea party, like every other month, was a great success. It was a lovely and enjoyable afternoon with clear blue skies and a pleasant gentle breeze, so the weather was super perfect.
The selected group of patients had a wonderful relaxing time, sitting at tables and being served by the dedicated Fontanella staff, meeting up in a warm and friendly atmosphere. A lot of catching up took place amongst giggles and laughter ! One delightful gentleman stole the afternoon show by relating old time stories to his happy surrounding friends. The Fontanella tea rooms, as always prepared a delicious array of food with teas and coffees being served all through the afternoon. The Lourdes Volunteers and malades enjoyed this reunion immensely, sitting in the beautiful rooftop terrace which overlooks the impressive landscapes which can be seen from the Mdina bastions. A big thank you goes to our devoted volunteers for coordinating this special and happy event and to the Sant Manduca Family whose kindness knows no bounds.
