Lourdes Patients Tea Party at the Corinthia Marina Hotel
The Maltese Association’s monthly afternoon tea-parties for our past Lourdes patients continue to give a lot of happiness and respite to our dear friends. These get-together events are also so very rewarding for the helpers themselves.
This month’s tea party brought together both old and young patients ! who are all so very dear and close to the heart of Maltese Association. The chosen venue was the intimate cosy Corinthia Marina Hotel, where a spread of delicious mouth watering eats were beautifully laid out in the Bay View Restaurant. Some wheelchair patients, on this lovely cloudless and blue skied afternoon, also enjoyed a cheerful and happy chat between themselves in one of the charming terraces overlooking the attractive St George’s Bay. The children were so happy and thrilled to meet each other again. They enjoyed tucking into the delicious eats very kindly provided by the Corinthia catering, whilst the parents had a lovely relaxing time chatting away and renewing acquaintances.
