Familiarisation Lunch – Radisson Blu Hotel St Julians

One hundred and thirty malades and helpers attended the pre-Lourdes familiarization fund raising lunch at the Radisson Blu Hotel St Julians.

For some weeks, work has been steadily building up at Casa Lanfreducci and now with departure just two weeks away, it was time to gather together pilgrims, malades and helpers so friendships and acquaintances could be forged and built.

Before lunch started Dr Philip Farrugia Randon, Maltese Association President welcomed everybody and thanked them for attending and giving their support and wished everyone a successful and spiritual experience in the forthcoming Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

During lunch Neville Curmi also address those present. In his short talk Neville spoke about the story of Lourdes and St Bernardette.

After table grace said by Maltese Association Principal Chaplain Mgr Lawrence Gatt, everyone settled down to enjoy a lovely lunch served by the very efficient staff of the Radisson Blu Hotel.
