Lourdes Patients’ Tea Party
The 27th January afternoon was another special and beautiful occasion to remember. A sizable number of patients and Lourdes Personnel met up at the Radisson Blue Resort in St Julians. The hotel staff were so obliging and attentive in making sure that everyone was being served and is well fed. The Radisson prepared a wonderful array of food and sweets for our special guests and friends, with teas, coffees and drinks flowing all through the afternoon. The children and adults alike, tucked into a variety of delicious sandwiches and scrumptious cakes!
The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was full of commotion with everyone trying to catch up on each others news. No wonder the two hour tea party went by so quickly ! All the volunteers and helpers went back home with a rewarding feeling to see the happy and smiling faces of Our Lords the Sick. They so much look forward to dressing up for the event which has become an important monthly event for them.
