Order of Malta Supports Catholic Mission in Russia

For the fourth consecutive year, the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo has supported a Catholic Mission in Russia.

Based in Tula and led by our long-time collaborator Dr Oleg Siliyanov, Russian Maltese Aid provides assistance to a Catholic Parish which has been serving the big city for a number of years. Orphans from a nearby Catholic orphanage received Christmas gifts thanks to our collaboration with Dr Oleg Siliyanov. Gifts were distributed on Christmas and during the Mass, a Tanzanian choir also participated.

Thanks to financial contributions from the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo, Dr Oleg Siliyanov could also increase his services to the poor people who get free medical care in the clinic.
