Mother’s Union in Gozo support Order of Malta Food programme

This week, the Mother’s Union of Malta and Gozo prepared and donated a large amount of food parcels to the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo to be distributed to needy persons all over Gozo. This is a regular charity activity supported by the Mother’s Union which is an organization under the Anglican Church in Malta. The Order of Malta often requires support to assist various persons passing through bad times – most heart-breaking situations where the parent of a family is sick or deceased.

The Mother’s Union in Gozo led by Susan Warner and Viv O’Pray led the women volunteers to arrange the packing before the relief aid was collected by a Malteser ambulance van based in Gozo. Chris Galea Director of the Volunteers ‘Corps of the Order thanked the Mother’s Union of Malta and Gozo and said that these supplies follow another delivery of supplies sent to Gozo by the Knights headquarters in Malta. “It was a good donation for the people we support in time for Christmas.”
