Fundraising lunch for Order of Malta hospitaller works

On Sunday 7th December, the Order of Malta Volunteer in Gozo organised a fundraising lunch at Ta’ Frenc Restaurant in Gozo. The activity was well attended and special guests included Members and volunteers from Malta who crossed over to Gozo for this special occasion. The Director of the Order of Malta Volunteer in Gozo thanked all those who attended as well as the Order of Malta Volunteer in Gozo members especially Manolita Farrugia and Clementine Aveta who did their utmost and worked hard for the success of this activity.
 
 

After the first course the raffle was held and a lot of spot prizes were won. At the end of the lunch, an auction was organised and several works of art donated or partly donated were sold. The Order of Malta wishes to thank all the sponsors; artists Victor Agius, George Scicluna, Anastasia P Pace and Aaron Formosa Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo Secretary for offering their works of art for the auction. An anonymous donor also presented a china tea set and several profile pens. Rev Charles Buttigieg donated two silver-plated Madonna and Child frames while B*Jewelled presented a fresh water pearl set. Dr John B Pace Order of Malta Volunteer in Gozo President and St George’s Basilica donated perfumes and Agius de Soldanis Gozo books respectively. Order of Malta Volunteer in Gozo also wishes to thank other business outlets for presenting vouchers for the raffle.

A special thanks also goes to Playpen Stationary, Dolceria Bartolo, Lighthouse supermarket and the management of Ta’ Frenc Restaurant.
