Friends of Gozo present donation for Order of Malta ambulance bus

On behalf of the Friends of Gozo, who three weeks organised a fundraising dinner, Ms Genevieve De Wynter presented a nice donation to the Order of Malta Volunteers in Gozo. The presentation was held at an outlet in the vicinity of the Order of Malta office in Victoria, Gozo.

The donation will be instrumental to help the Gozo Volunteers to continue providing a special wheelchair ambulance transport in Gozo. The Order of Malta has been providing this service for the past five years and users have increased on a daily basis. Ms De Wynter presented the money to Ms Manolita Farrugia Treasurer of the OMVG in the presence of Chris Galea Director of the aid organisation in Gozo. The Order of Malta thanked all its benefactors and well-wishers and augured all a Happy Feast on Victory Day; this year commemorating also the 450th Anniversary of the Great Siege of Malta.
