Children’s Christmas Party
The Maltese Association hosted the traditional Children’s Christmas Party for the 10th year running at the Grand Hotel Excelsior on Tuesday 4th December 2018.
Around 200 deserving children hailing from various parts of the Island, some suffering from visual impairment, were treated to an afternoon of festive fun, with lively and engaging entertainment once again provided by After Glow Events. On arrival they were greeted by Disney character mascots, followed by dancing, games and an enthralling magic show.
Various members and Volunteers of the Association, including a number of nurses, were in attendance to assist and dish out in a very orderly manner, the more than abundant food which was prepared by Hotel staff, along with free flowing soft drinks. A tea, coffee and cake service was also laid out for carers and other adults who accompanied the children. At the end of it all a packet of goodies and a present were distributed to each child on the way out.
